Beautiful pre-owned Breitling Navitimer Ref. 806 circa 1960’, Double Plane logo variation. All original.
Breitling Navitimer 806 was the first edition of the ‘Navitimer’ Collection, powered by the hand-winded Venus 178 column-wheel chronograph mechanical movement.
Movement is working strong, chronograph functions well.
The 40mm gold plated case is in good condition to its age with some patina and scratches (see photos).
The beautiful iconic Breitling’s familiar circular slide rule and the distinctive beaded bidirectional bezel are in great shape and rotates well (see photos).
The plexiglass crystal is in good condition also (see photos).
Its reverse panda dial is in good condition with original (beautifully faded) lume. This dial, in reversed panda style (black with silver subdials), has the Double Plane logo variation, also known as Twin Jet.
This Breitling watch bears nice matching patina on its baton hands as a sign of a beautifully aged timepiece.
The signed original crown and two original pushers on the side are all well-kept.
The watch has a new black strap.
This Breitling Navitimer 806 is fully functional and is running well.
